What is Transformation of Sentences and some details about it | Mr.Grammar.

Hello friends, welcome to our website Mr.Grammar again. Today we will talk about what is transformation of sentences and some details about it.

》What is Transformation of Sentences?

Ans: The Transformation of Sentences consists in changing a sentence from one form to another without changing any change of meaning.

♢Transformation of Sentence does not result in any change in the meaning of the sentence, only structural change in the sentence. As like -

1. I am rich.

♢We can write the above sentence by making structural changes.

2. I am not rich.

♢Here both sentences (1) and (2) express the same meaning; But (1) sentence is affirmative and (2) sentence is negative. Transformation of Sentences is the change of sentence form in different ways.

♢The form of a sentence can be changed in different ways. As like -

>Mutual conversion of Affirmative and Negative sentences.

>Mutual conversation of Assertive, Interrogative, Imperative, Optative and Exclamatory sentences.

>Mutual conversation of Simple, Complex and Compound sentences.

>Mutual conversation of Positive, Superlative and Comparative degrees.
